What to See at The Green Planet

What to See at The Green Planet

The Green Planet Dubai is an indoor tropical rainforest attraction at City Walk, Al Wasl. Its rainforest includes more than 3,000 plants and animals, with mammals, birds, reptiles, insects and night creatures among the groups you can explore.

Daily passes provide access to the rainforest’s different ecosystem layers, and staff guide the experience. The venue maintains an indoor temperature of 24–27 degrees Celsius and humidity of approximately 75%, so expect a warm, humid environment.

If you’re planning a wider day in the area, you can pair a visit with this Downtown Dubai sightseeing plan or read the guide to The Dubai Mall.

Tickets and Visitor Rules

A valid ticket is required for entry, and you must present it when asked. The child ticket rate applies to ages 2 through 10; the adult rate applies from age 11. The venue may ask for proof of age. No ticket prices are provided here.

Online bookings are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Bring the booking confirmation in print or on a smart device; it must be exchanged for an entry ticket or voucher.

Children must be supervised, but the venue’s published rules differ on the age requirement: one says supervision by an adult or someone aged 16 or older, while another says children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or older. Check the official site before you go if this affects your plans.

Food and beverages are not allowed inside, except food required for medical purposes and medically indicated nutritional supplements. The facility is smoke-free, and visitors are asked not to touch, handle, feed or harass plants and animals. Selfie sticks and standard tripods may be allowed at management’s discretion, without flash.

Opening Hours and How Long to Allow

Ticket
sales cutoff, so don’t assume either from the closing time

The Green Planet is open every day from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The opening-hours information does not give a last-admission time or a ticket-sales cutoff, so don’t assume either from the closing time. Allow enough time for the rainforest layers and the animals you want to see; no visit duration is specified.

Getting There from the Hotel

Roda Al Murooj Residences is about a 9-minute drive from The Green Planet. The venue lists metro, bus, taxi and car as ways to get there, but does not give a specific route, stop or bus number in its opening-hours information.

If you drive, the official directions point to the underground City Walk mall parking area C2, across the road from the attraction. The site lists 3 hours of free parking and says to validate the parking token before exiting.

Who May Enjoy This Indoor Attraction

The rainforest setting offers an indoor nature outing, with several animal groups and ecosystem layers to explore. The venue is designated a Certified Autism Centre, and staff have completed training to assist autistic and sensory-sensitive visitors.

A quiet zone is available on the ground floor, sensory kits are available at the biodome entrance, and restrooms are located throughout the park, including companion restrooms in selected locations. A dedicated parking space for people of determination is available in the City Walk basement parking area.

Before you go: Check the official site before you go for current hours, ticket information and parking details.
